The next generation of the Moorcroft legacy, this circa 1980 Pagoda-style lidded vase stands 12.5 inches tall. Lise’s family heritage and unique skills shine through as the fourth-generation potter from the Moorcroft family. Good condition with minor restoration on the lower rim.
About Lise Moorcroft. Lise studied at London’s Central School of Art and Design, graduating with honors before setting up an independent studio in Stoke-on-Trent. There, she continued the traditions favored by her ancestors while developing her own style.
Like her other work, this piece is unique and is sure to be collected as much for its design as for its heritage.
